By popular demand, we create and maintain web sites. We prefer to work as employees at the client's site, which is unorthodox but effective. This practice encourages the flow of information to create the most suitable and informative web site for an organisation and its clients. We prefer to convert and arrange legacy content in a suitable format for inexperienced end users. This re-purposing is a proven, cost effective method to publicise an organisation. Ask us about our limitations - we will be happy to recommend others for particular tasks or projects. For example, we don't do whizzy graphics - we make functional web sites that work. Our speciality is the "web site on a disk": small sites allowing people to browse when off-line. This has been extremely popular with many clients.

In our experience, people commissioning web sites are too concerned about style and specify web sites that are impractical for end users. There are a variety of reasons for this practice, but the result is web sites that have uneccessarily high or specific requirements. The most obvious case is too much graphics, making the web site unbearably slow to access. End users access a web site to learn information, not to experience a multi-media extravaganza. Yes, such sites exist, but is your site one of them? We can show you how to make an effective web site and keep it effective.

If required, we have an expanding range of free CGI Scripts that allow future maintainers to re-style the output without programming experience. The scripts consist of publicly available scripts, modified to work with a style library and audited for security flaws. There is a style upload script to apply new styles as required. We apply, customise and support open source ECommerce systems, but in our experience, don't bother with ECommerce unless you already do mail order.

We don't do hosting. Some web designers offer hosting because they obtain discounts from third parties, or simply to obtain continued business. There are many companies that specialise in hosting and for typical cases it would be a dis-service to offer hosting. However, many hosting companies have standard, automated accounts that may exclude experimental services, such as text based streaming video. In such rare cases, we can help.
